There is more than soccer and souring up your liver while at Put-in-Bay. Here are a couple of places to visit while on the island.

Put-in-Bay Brewing Company is another one of our sponsors where you can get some great munchies a uniquely brewed island beer while cooling off to some hot music.

Butterfly House will be a nice break from soccer and the island heat. These two sponsors are located just moments from downtown and offer a great time for your team or family while you’re not on the pitch. Along with this there are many other activities attached to the Cave. You may not make it back to the fields, there’s a winery.

The Round House is located right beside the chicken patio and in front of the Park Hotel. Night life does not get any better than this.

Del Sol has a uniquely island style assortment of products, such as apparel, tote bags, jewelry, nail polish & toys that change color when exposed to sunlight! Located in Harbor Village right behind the Boathouse.

2011 Weekend Tentative Schedule:

Getting to the Island… is easy! If you are coming from Northeast Ohio or Pennsylvania your best bet is the Jet-Express. The Jet departs from Sandusky and Port Clinton and will deposit you and your gear right downtown. Go to their site for advanced tickets and eliminate the wait in line. If you need a vehicle on the island or if logistically it makes better sense take Miller Boatline then walk up the hill and Island Transportation will get you downtown. Also check out the Historical Tour Train which departs right from the field. If you want to take the bus downtown or rent a cart specials will be available for tournament participants…just let them know you are with the tournament.

Friday: Check in at the Boathouse Bar and Grill for drink specials from 6-8 pm. The Boathouse is located right in the heart of downtown Put-in-Bay. Come on out and size up the competition and enjoy drink and food specials. The Boathouse will have wrist bans so you enjoy the special pricing. Andy and the Boathouse crew help kick this weekend off just right.

Saturday: Kick off for the first set of games will be at 9:00am. All rosters and waivers must be filled out in full prior to the start of your first game. You will have at least 2 games on Saturday depending on how the schedule shakes out. Saturday night from 5-8 we will be at The Crescent Tavern right in the heart of down town Put-in-Bay. Happy hour drink and food specials will be in effect so get your wrist band. The Crescent Tavern is known to be haunted so be sure to keep your senses about you.

Sunday: After shaking off the effects of the night before get to the field early and check out who you will be facing in the finals. Kick off for the first set of games will be at 9:00am. Each team will have at least one game each on this day with the finals wrapping up around 4:00.
